PersoCo
Based on the proposal for the respirator Perso made by the University of Southampton, PersoCo was designed and developed a proposal for the Colombian context at Universidad de Los Andes – Colombia to help the medical staff fight against the Covid-19. From the beginning, the idea was to change the look and feel of the initial respirator idea, because we believe that more than protect the medical staff, the device should allow them to feel empowered, feel like the heroes they are.

Aesthetic Asepsis & Performative Materiality
From the first sketch of the respirator two basic elements: The comfort of the person who should wear it and the way the person looks using the device. It is essential to put the user at the center of the project, not only ensuring protection but also emotional and comfort factors related to the use of such a device.
